durban brooches in store now R60 each. love the addington children's hospital part on this old map. remember one of my first photo shoots of the area about 10 years ago was of the children's hospital....

spent hours down at the abandoned point houses, loved the way the doves used to fly from the one rooftop to the next, following each other. not sure that I enjoy the restored version of the houses as much, has lost that special feeling.....

do you remember the homeless shelter, the arc? this is a pic of the side of the building, used to sell these photos at the essenwood craft market many, many moons ago! I always had my eye on this building for a shop! my fav by far.....

nev's latest piece of furniture, custom made for a client. so beautifully done, you have no idea the amount of time and effort put into getting ply lines running horizontally instead of vertically to create this profile! well done love!

guerrilla gardening! such a cool term. stick a few seeds in the ground wherever you go! they are doing it all over the uk, even have a "guerrilla gardening kit" that you can buy! think this is one trend that should be followed by everyone, there can never be too many flowers in the world, so next time you go out, take a seed or two with you and drop it along the way.....

the view from our bedroom as you lie on the bed. the cutest little woodpecker has made himself a home there, i love watching him on a sunday morming, especially when the wind blows through the skirts of the trees.... bliss.

my chandelier from argentina is finally hanging in its rightful place in our guest loo! the one thing that I kept from our argentine imports, only waited 5 years for it to find a home.....

worth the wait, i love it! used to hang in a house of ill repute! quite a few stories to tell.....

love these angels, took these pics in the ricoletta cemetery in buenos aires where evita was buried! was an absolutely amazing experience, literally spend a whole day there, if ever you go to argentina, put it on your "go to" list! you'll never regret it!
