.....strelitzia

this is how the cross stitch / embroidery project turned out! no where close to the cool books that my mom used to stitch and cover, but not too bad! 1x strelitzia, 1x protea and 1x madiba at R299 each..... that might just be that!!!

absolutely love the new design team fabrics, used this range to make some cushions, R399 each 40cm x 50cm

.....egg face

how cool is this! 4 eggs! made the perfect little face! i can't eat meat because i keep seeing the cute cow faces, always thought i'd be safe with eggs, toe nie! 

.....kiaat bedside table

new bedside table in store. I love the kiaat, such a rich colour! Nev did  a great with the restoration, especially love the handmade handles. R1200     SOLD

Is this not the most beautiful little nunu in the whole world? She did a lot of guarding today, so we had a chilled evening lying on the bed and helping Ry with his homework! She is just the cutest and the cleverest too... of course!

.....lawn ornaments anybody?

I am really not a fan of lawn ornaments! Keep it inside I say! But .... might be able to make an exception for these cuties from factory 20, though I know Morgan will take offense and pounce first chance she gets! 

I would love to have this for my studio! Would feel so organised! I love the look and feel of these pics, their site is well worth a visit for some inspiration if like for me, shopping is not an option!

I enjoy the fun way that this old chair has been re styled! Inspired me to do some embroidery....

Mad about these new sketches! They should be framed and in store within the next week or so! Also looking forward to some of Terry's new work ,will keep you posted on ETA!

.....re-cycled flooring

Our "pallet parquet" flooring is 100% re-cycled and completely natural! I am so glad that we've had such a great response! Originally used for display, we are now looking at installation methods that would make this usable in domestic and commercial environments! Loads of work ahead!

.....coral tree

The jacs had a fab time at the show! I decided that the coral tree branches would make a beautiful backdrop for them.I am quite stubborn and once I have a picture in my mind of how I want something to look, I don't really compromise easily! Still have cuts on my hands from this "picking" experience. Looked like a total twit, fat girl, hanging from a tree on the M19, cutting flowers..... worth it though they looked beautiful!

A few of the handmade cement pots with aloes in store at the moment, each one is cast by hand and range from R50 to R150.

....vintage wedding

A while ago Nev made 10 cool vintage tables for a client to use at her wedding reception! It looked amazing! Hope you enjoyed them Georgie!
